Dosage
Infusión intravenosa. Adultos: 125 mg/m2 de superficie corporal/ día.

Evita la síntesis de las cadenas del DNA.
Pregnancy warnings
Son evidentes las anormalidades en fetos humanos. Deben prevalecer los factores de riesgo, sobre los pretendidos “beneficios” del fármaco a prescribir. Contraindicado en el embarazo.
Precautions
Valorar riesgo beneficio en pacientes con tratamiento antiinfeccioso, o con leucopenia y trombocitopenia.
Adverse effects
Neutropenia, leucopenia, trombocitopenia, diarrea, nausea, vómito, astenia, fiebre, alteraciones de la función hepática, alopecia, erupciones.
