QuiénEsQuién.Wiki has no owner. Instead, PODER, a civil society organization, leads the project and seeks to involve other interested organizations, whether by adding data or by creating open source visualizations that other actors can adapt. The intention is for the platform to eventually be governed jointly by several user organizations.
The platform's current ecosystem is diverse: it ranges from journalists and researchers who use the platform to organizations whose particular interest in a country or topic leads them to build a linked platform through which they share data.
The Proyecto sobre Organización, Desarrollo, Educación e Investigación (PODER) is a regional, non-governmental, non-profit organization. Our mission is to foster corporate transparency and accountability in Latin America and to strengthen civil society actors affected by business practices so that they can act as long-term guarantors of accountability. PODER achieves this through corporate intelligence, transparency technologies and community organizing to build a citizen movement for corporate accountability.
