Dosage
Oral. Adultos: 600 mg cada 12 horas, de preferencia con los alimentos.
General information
Inhibidor de las proteasas del VIH que vuelve a la enzima incapaz de procesar a la proteína gag-pol, lo que conduce a la producción de partículas VIH inmaduras, incapaces de iniciar nuevos ciclos de infección.
Pregnancy warnings
Sin riesgo para el feto. Se carece de estudios clínicos adecuados para mujeres embarazadas.
Precautions
Insuficiencia hepática, insuficiencia renal, hemofilia tipo A ó B.
Adverse effects
Astenia, cefalea, dolor abdominal, anorexia, diarrea, náusea, vómito, hipotensión, parestesias, rash y disgeusia.
