Dosage
Infusión intravenosa. Adultos: 130 mg/m2 de superficie corporal, en 250 a 500 ml durante 2 a 6 horas, cada 21 días. Administrar diluido en soluciones intravenosas envasadas en frascos de vidrio.
General information
Citotóxico antineoplásico perteneciente al grupo de los derivados del platino y cuyo mecanismo de acción es la formación de enlaces covalentes, dentro y entre las cadenas de la molécula de DNA.
Pregnancy warnings
Son evidentes las anormalidades en fetos humanos. Deben prevalecer los factores de riesgo, sobre los pretendidos “beneficios” del fármaco a prescribir. Contraindicado en el embarazo.
Adverse effects
Vómito, diarrea, neuropatía periférica.
