Dosage

Intravenosa. Adultos: Inicial: Unidades requeridas = peso corporal en kg x (100-actividad real de antitrombina III en por ciento). Mantenimiento: de acuerdo con la gravedad del enfermo y la respuesta de coagulación obtenida. Niños: 40-60 UI/kg peso corporal por día hasta 250 UI/kg de peso por día según la respuesta de coagulación. Administrar diluido en soluciones intravenosas envasadas en frascos de vidrio.

Existen efectos secundarios en fetos de animales de experimentación. No hay hasta el momento estudios adecuados en los seres humanos, por lo que se desconocen los riesgos de su utilización en mujeres embarazadas. LA TERAPIA MEDICAMENTOSA SÓLO ES VALIDA CUANDO EL PROBLEMA DE SALUD INDICA SIN LUGAR A DUDAS, LA NECESIDAD DE SU EMPLEO.
