Dosage
Intravenosa. Adultos y niños de 2 a 12 años: Inicial 6 mg/kg de peso corporal cada 12 horas las primeras 24 horas; continuar con 4 mg/kg de peso corporal cada 12 horas. Oral. Adultos de más de 40 kg de peso corporal: Inicial 400 mg cada 12 horas las primeras 24 horas; continuar con 200 mg cada 12 horas. Pacientes con peso menor de 40 kg de peso corporal: Inicial 200 mg cada 12 horas las primeras 24 horas; continuar con 100 mg cada 12 horas. Niños de 2 a 12 años: Inicial 6 mg/kg de peso corporal cada 12 horas las primeras 24 horas; continuar con 4 mg/kg de peso corporal cada 12 horas.
General information
Inhibidor de la citocromo P450 de los hongos, mediado por desmetilación del 14-α-esterol en la biosíntesis de ergosterol.
Pregnancy warnings
Existen efectos secundarios en fetos de animales de experimentación. No hay hasta el momento estudios adecuados en los seres humanos, por lo que se desconocen los riesgos de su utilización en mujeres embarazadas. LA TERAPIA MEDICAMENTOSA SÓLO ES VALIDA CUANDO EL PROBLEMA DE SALUD INDICA SIN LUGAR A DUDAS, LA NECESIDAD DE SU EMPLEO.
Precautions
Insuficiencia hepática, insuficiencia renal, lactancia.
Adverse effects
Trastornos vasculares, fiebre, erupción cutánea, vómito, náuseas, diarrea, cefalea, edema periférico y dolor abdominal.
