Dosage

Oral Niños menores de 12 años: 5 a 7 mg/kg de peso corporal/día, dividida cada 6 horas. Adultos y niños mayores de 12 años: 50 a 100 mg cada 6 horas.

Bacteriostático que interfiere en los procesos enzimáticos bacterianos.

Pregnancy warnings

Sin riesgo para el feto. Se carece de estudios clínicos adecuados para mujeres embarazadas.

Insuficiencia renal.

Adverse effects

Anorexia, náusea, vómito, diarrea, dolor abdominal, anemia hemolítica, neuropatía periférica.
