Dosage

Oral. Adultos: 0.6 mg/kg de peso corporal, una o dos horas antes de la exposición a los rayos ultravioleta.

Psoraleno con actividad fotosensibilizante, para la repigmentación requiere la presencia de melanocitos activos.

Existen efectos secundarios en fetos de animales de experimentación. No hay hasta el momento estudios adecuados en los seres humanos, por lo que se desconocen los riesgos de su utilización en mujeres embarazadas.
