Dosage
Intravenosa Adultos: 1.3 mg/m2 de superficie corporal/dosis. Administrar como bolo intravenoso dos veces por semana durante dos semanas (días 1, 4, 8 y 11) seguido por un periodo de descanso de 10 días (días 12 a 21). Al menos deben transcurrir 72 horas entre las dosis consecutivas. Estas 3 semanas se consideran un ciclo de tratamiento.
General information
El ingrediente activo del Bortezomib es el ácido dipeptidil modificado, el cual es un inhibidor reversible del proteasoma 26S, complejo proteico con actividad similar a la quimiotripsina en células de mamifero. El proteasoma 26S es un complejo proteico grande que degrada las proteínas ubiquitinizadas.
Pregnancy warnings
Son evidentes las anormalidades en fetos humanos. Deben prevalecer los factores de riesgo, sobre los pretendidos “beneficios” del fármaco a prescribir. Contraindicado en el embarazo.
Precautions
Neuropatía periférica, hipotensión.
Adverse effects
Fatiga, debilidad, náuseas, diarrea, disminución del apetito (incluyendo anorexia), constipación, trombocitopenia, neuropatía periférica, fiebre, vómito y anemia.
