Dosage
Intravenosa u oral. Adultos y niños: 15 mg/kg de peso corporal 4 a 12 horas antes del transplante y durante una a dos semanas del postoperatorio. Disminuir gradualmente en un 5 % semanal hasta obtener una dosis de mantenimiento de 5 a 10 mg/kg/día.

Polipéptido cíclico de once aminoácidos, es un potente inmunodepresor.

Existen pruebas de riesgo para el feto humano. PUEDE ACEPTARSE EL RIESGO CUANDO LA PRESCRIPCIÓN INTRÍNSECA ES RACIONAL, A LO QUE SE AGREGA EN FORMA COALIGADA, UN PROBLEMA DE SALUD ESPECÍFICO E INDIVIDUAL.
Adverse effects
Disfunción hepática y renal, hipertensión, temblor, cefalea, parestesia, anorexia, náusea, vómito, dolor abdominal, diarrea, hiperplasia gingival, hiperlipidemia, calmbres musculares, mialgia, hipertricosis, fatiga.
