Dosage
Subcutánea. Adultos: Un implante cada tres años. Insertarlo del día 1 al 5 del ciclo menstrual. La inserción y remoción deberán efectuarse por un médico con experiencia.
General information
Asociación de progestágeno sintético con estrógeno que inhiben la ovulación y modifican el tracto genital, lo que impide la unión de las células germinales.
Pregnancy warnings
Son evidentes las anormalidades en fetos humanos. Deben prevalecer los factores de riesgo, sobre los pretendidos “beneficios” del fármaco a prescribir. Contraindicado en el embarazo.
Adverse effects
Náusea, vómito, cefalalgia, nerviosismo, hemorragia intermenstrual, amenorrea menstruación escasa y de corta duración.
