Dosage
Intramuscular profunda. Adultos: Primera vez; administrar una ampolleta o jeringa entre el primero y el quinto día del ciclo menstrual. Segunda vez, administrar al mes después de la primera dosis.
General information
Asociación de progestágeno sintético con estrógeno que inhiben la ovulación y modifica el tracto genital, impidiendo la unión de las células germinales.
Pregnancy warnings
Son evidentes las anormalidades en fetos humanos. Deben prevalecer los factores de riesgo, sobre los pretendidos “beneficios” del fármaco a prescribir. Contraindicado en el embarazo.
Adverse effects
Náusea, vómito, hemorragia intermenstrual, amenorrea, cefalea, depresión, tromboflebitis y trastornos tromboembólicos, cloasma.
