Dosage
Oral. Adultos: 500 a 1000 mg cada 8 horas. En infecciones graves, las dosis máxima no debe exceder de 4.5 g/día. Niños: 20 a 40 mg/kg de peso corporal/día, dividir cada 8 horas.
General information
Impide la síntesis de la pared bacteriana al inhibir la transpeptidasa.
Pregnancy warnings
Sin riesgo para el feto. Se carece de estudios clínicos adecuados para mujeres embarazadas.
Adverse effects
Náusea, vómito, diarrea.
