DOSAGE AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Dosage

Infusión intravenosa. Adultos: 75 a 100 mg/m2 de superficie corporal, diaria por 2 días, repetir cada 6 semanas con control plaquetario y cuenta leucocitaria. La dosis se reduce al 50% por debajo de 2 000/mm3 de leucocitos y menos de 25 000/mm3 de plaquetas. Esquema alternativo 200 mg/m2 de superficie corporal, dosis única, repetir cada 6 a 8 semanas.

General information

Entrecruza las tiras de DNA celular e interfiere en la transcripción de RNA, causando un desequilibrio en el desarrollo que conduce a la muerte celular. Es inespecífico del ciclo celular.

Adverse effects

Anorexia, náusea, depresión de la médula ósea, leucopenia, trombocitopenia, dolor en el sitio de la inyección, hiperpigmentación cutánea, nefrotoxicidad, hepatotóxico, hiperuricemia, fibrosis pulmonar.
