Dosage
Intravenosa. Adultos (embarazadas entre 24 y 33 semanas de gestación): 1) 6.75 mg/0.9 ml en bolo. 2) 18 mg/hora/3 horas en 5% de dextrosa en infusión continua. 3) 6 mg/hora/18 horas en 5% de dextrosa en infusión continua. Administrar diluido en soluciones intravenosas envasadas en frascos de vidrio.

Pregnancy warnings
No hay riesgo para el feto en el primer trimestre del embarazo. No hay pruebas de riesgo en los últimos trimestres del embarazo.
Precautions
Insuficiencia renal o hepática, embarazos múltiples. Mantener en refrigeración de 2 a 8 0C.
Adverse effects
Náuseas, cefalea, vértigo, vómito, hipotensión, taquicardia, hiperglucemia.
