Dosage
Intravenosa o intramuscular. Adultos: Inicial: 100 a 250 mg (intramuscular). En choque: 500 a 2000 mg cada 2 a 6 horas. Niños: 20 a 120 mg/m2 de superficie corporal/ día, cada 12 a 24 horas, por tres días.

Pregnancy warnings
Existen efectos secundarios en fetos de animales de experimentación. No hay hasta el momento estudios adecuados en los seres humanos, por lo que se desconocen los riesgos de su utilización en mujeres embarazadas. LA TERAPIA MEDICAMENTOSA SÓLO ES VALIDA CUANDO EL PROBLEMA DE SALUD INDICA SIN LUGAR A DUDAS, LA NECESIDAD DE SU EMPLEO.
Precautions
Enfermedad hepática, osteoporosis, diabetes mellitus, úlcera péptica.
Adverse effects
Inmunodepresión, úlcera péptica, trastornos psiquiátricos, acné, glaucoma, hiperglucemia, pancreatitis, detención del crecimiento en niños, osteoporosis.
