Dosage
Subcutánea. Adultos: 0.25 mg cada 6-8 horas. Oral. Adultos: 5 mg cada 8 horas. Niños mayores de 12 años: 2.5 a 5 mg cada 8 horas.
General information
Relaja el músculo liso bronquial al unirse con receptores adrenérgicos beta 2. También relaja el músculo uterino.
Pregnancy warnings
Sin riesgo para el feto. Se carece de estudios clínicos adecuados para mujeres embarazadas.
Precautions
En diabetes mellitus, hipertensión arterial sistémica, hipertiroidismo, arritmias cardiacas.
Adverse effects
Nerviosismo, temblores, cefalea, palpitaciones y taquicardia; faringitis irritativa (en la forma inhalada); vómito y náusea.
