Dosage
Intravenosa. Adultos: Inicial: 6 mg/kg de peso corporal, por 20 a 30 minutos. Mantenimiento: 0.4 a 0.9 mg/kg peso corporal/ hora. Niños: De 6 meses a 9 años. Inicial: 1.2 mg/kg peso corporal/ hora, por 12 horas. Mantenimiento: 1 mg/kg de peso corporal/hora. De 9 a 16 años. Inicial: 1 mg/kg de peso corporal/hora, por 12 horas. Mantenimiento: 0.8 mg/kg peso corporal/hora. Administrar diluido en soluciones intravenosas envasadas en frascos de vidrio.
General information
Inhibe a la fosfodiesterasa produciendo relajación del músculo liso, en especial el bronquial.
Pregnancy warnings
Existen efectos secundarios en fetos de animales de experimentación. No hay hasta el momento estudios adecuados en los seres humanos, por lo que se desconocen los riesgos de su utilización en mujeres embarazadas. Adverse effects
Náusea, vómito, diarrea, irritabilidad, insomnio, cefalea, convulsiones, arritmia, taquicardia, hipotensión.
