Dosage

Intravenosa. Adultos: 0.5 a 2 mg, hasta obtener respuesta clínica. Dosis máxima: 5 mg/día. Niños: 0.07 a 0.08 mg/kg de peso corporal, hasta obtener respuesta clínica.

General information

Inhibe la hidrólisis de la acetilcolina al competir con ésta por la acetilcolinesterasa.

Pregnancy warnings

Sin riesgo para el feto. Se carece de estudios clínicos adecuados para mujeres embarazadas.

Adverse effects

Dolor abdominal, diarrea, náusea, aumento del peristaltismo, sialorrea, cefalea, broncoespasmo, hipotensión arterial, fasciculaciones, disartria, somnolencia.
